The American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) exists to protect the health and welfare of the public through an ongoing process of evaluation and certification of the competence of podiatrists in the specialty of podiatric orthopedics and primary podiatric medicine by offering podiatric physicians a comprehensive board qualification and certification process.

The American College of Foot & Ankle Orthopedics & Medicine (ACFAOM) is a national organization of highly educated and trained podiatric physicians dedicated to assuring that primary podiatric medicine, broadly defined as orthopedics and medicine of the lower extremities, is the cornerstone of contemporary podiatric practice.

American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry (ABMSP) promotes certification in 4 areas including Primary Care in Podiatric Medicine, Foot and Ankle Surgery, Prevention and Treatment of Diabetic Foot Wounds and Diabetic Footwear, and Limb Preservation and Salvage.

The American Association for Women Podiatrists, Inc. (AAWP) is a national organization providing leadership to our members in the advancement of educational, political, financial, social, and emotional well-being.The AAWP provides information, education, networking & support related to podiatric medicine for member podiatric physicians.

The Canadian Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA) is a non-profit organization working on behalf of its 400 plus members – Canada’s premier foot specialists. We are dedicated to enhancing the profession of podiatry and increasing awareness among Canadians about the importance of good foot health care.

The Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine (CFPM) is a non-profit professional organization comprising duly qualified foot care practitioners (chiropodists and podiatrists) who are committed to the code of ethics of the CFPM. The purpose of the CFPM is to maintain, advance and promote the science and the practice of chiropody and podiatry in Canada by representing the profession to government, community and other professional bodies.

The American College of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics (ACFAP) strives to disseminate new and advanced information on the latest techniques in pediatric foot and ankle care through participation in seminars, lectures, publications and digital media.

The American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management (AAPPM), the largest affiliate of the APMA, has been positively changing lives, practices and communities of podiatric physicians through leadership education, practice management education, and sharing knowledge for more than 50 years. The AAPPM is committed to providing physicians and their staff with the information and services they need to better run their practices and provide the best patient care possible.

The American Podiatric Medical Students’ Association (APMSA) is the only national organization representing 2,500 students enrolled at the nine colleges of podiatric medicine. By virtue of enrollment in a college of podiatric medicine, all students are members of the Association.

The Nevada Podiatric Medical Association is actively engaged in improving the quality of foot and ankle care in Nevada. Through state and federal advocacy, public awareness and continuing education we are striving to bring Nevada to the forefront in podiatric care.
